Anson McMahon this weekend!

Join us this weekend as guest speaker, and former Big Valley Grace pastor, Anson McMahon preaches a special message for Father’s Day Weekend.  TRUST US, you do not want to miss this……

Anson was born on May 17th 1978 in Warner Robins, Georgia. When he was 9 years old a man named Mr. Peavey took him to church. Mr. Peavey ‘s ministry was to pick up children and take them to church each Sunday. As a result of this seemingly insignificant act of love, Anson was saved by Jesus. His heart was radically transformed by the good news that God loved him and had allowed His Son Jesus to be beaten and crucified on a cross so that Anson’s sins could be forgiven.

On August 26th, 2000 Anson was married to his beautiful high school sweetheart Heather Newton. They made their home in Ellijay, Georgia for the first few years of their marriage. Anson traveled and preached full-time as an itinerant preacher while attending classes at the extension center of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Atlanta. In early 2003 the McMahon’s moved to Modesto, California where Anson was the High School Pastor and Pastor to Students and Young Adults at Big Valley Grace Community Church for over 5 years. In early 2008 the McMahon’s moved back to their home state of Georgia and in May of 2010 Anson obeyed God’s call to plant a gospel-centered church called EMMAUS Church in the Atlanta area with the Acts 29 Network.
