Hume Lake Christian Camp is still very much in danger from the wildfires that started late July. Please be praying…today is critical.
Update from their FB Page last night:
The air has cooled enough to slow the fire, and just a soft glow from beyond the dam remains for now. Today’s prescribed burns seem effective so far, and the pulled pork came out “amazing” (we heard that out loud). When you’re out on fires for extended periods, a hot meal makes a difference. Fire teams will work through the night on more bulldozer lines and hose setup. Tomorrow marks day 22 of the Rough Fire. We ask that you pause tonight or tomorrow morning and pray that the crews to get a restful night’s sleep, pray for those working through the night, and pray that the back burns and dozer lines from today prove effective.
