Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8
OUR MISSION is to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches among all the nations (Ethnos (plural): multitude or nations—peoples, tribes, languages) and bring the gospel to the unengaged, unreached and Bibleless people of the world; to ensure the success of ministry partners as they mobilize people to follow Christ. (Matthew 24:14)
OUR VISION is to develop, empower, and release spiritually healthy personnel and national leaders that will influence others in the name of Christ. (Psalm 67: 1-4)
OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES are to be Gospel-centered; Word based and spirit empowered; team and partnership driven; entrepreneurial thinking; measure analytical and strategic effectiveness; multiplication, not addition; resourced efficient; Holistic and integrated. (Genesis 12:2-3)
BVG MISSION CULTURE must have healthy leadership and members, striving to glorify God, with Jesus in our hearts and mind, keeping one another amenable and acutely aware of the possibility of Mission Drift from our original foundation and mission. (2 Corinthians 5:20-21)
BVG MISSION ACCOUNTABILITY as followers of Christ, God has entrusted us to live under His mandate to fulfill the commission of sharing the gospel with all nations and all peoples (Matthew 28:19-20)

Unengaged Unreached People Group (UUPG)
There are nearly 2,293 Unengaged Unreached People Groups (UUPG) of the world. An Unreached People Group (UPG) means there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize to their own people. An unengaged unreached people group (UUPG) has no known active church planting underway. “A people group is engaged when a church planting strategy, consistent with evangelical faith and practice, is under implementation.”
The Reach Ministry here at Big Valley Grace would like to challenge other FOLLOWERS OF JESUS to join our team in reaching the UUPG’s of the world and helping to complete God’s call to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28: 19-20). Reach will provide UPG prayer cards and distribute to as many prayer warriors as possible to begin praying about minimizing and ultimately reaching the 2.293 groups of people in this world without the opportunity to know Jesus. Pray for the gospel to extend to various areas of the globe through Missionaries, Church Planters, Bible studies and home groups and Biblical Christian materials in the heart language of those we are trying to reach. For more information on how you can do this, please Contact Katie Fuentes for a current, printable list of UPG prayer cards or follow the link Joshua Project lists and the Issachar Initiative – Finishing the Task
Big Valley Grace has partnered with congregations in Baja Mexico to build worship facilities, work with local orphanages, train pastors, build houses and present the gospel to thousands of children during Vacation Bible School programs. Become part of the High School Ministry, Men’s Ministry or Spanish Ministry teams that go on short-term mission trips. Help financially and spiritually by supporting youth and young adults as they experience short-term mission life in Mexico.
It’s a small act that makes a big difference to reach the Unreached. As part of the Great Commission, given in Matthew 28:19 to “go and make disciples of all nations,” Adopt a Verse is a Wycliffe Bible Translators campaign to engage churches in Scripture translation for people who do not yet have the Bible in their native language or dialect. Big Valley Grace is joining with Wycliffe to reach the Unreached People Groups of South Asia. As a church, our goal is to have the following Books of the Bible translated into the three native dialects of people in South Asia: Romans (completed in 2017), John 1-3, James, Philemon and Hebrews. The average cost to translate one verse is approximately $40 USD. The monies raised through our adoption efforts will translate the books into the heart language, allowing more than 1.25 million Unreached people to read the books of the Bible for the first time! How to Adopt A Verse Throughout the year, you can donate online through Big Valley Grace online giving. Please indicate the following: Adopt A Verse in the memo line or look for the specific Adopt A Verse column. The donation amount is a minimum of $40 per verse, per language. AAV giving
Pray for the Unreached people of South Asia without access to God’s Word and the opportunity to have their lives transformed by the Living God. Pray for the Wycliffe translators as they translate the books into a language that touches the hearts and lives of the hearers. Pray for the impact of the gospel to reach beyond South Asia to other Unreached Unengaged People Groups of the world.
Impact It’s an opportunity to adopt a verse for just $40, to invest in the vision of reaching the people of South Asia with the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you cannot afford the total donation amount, invite a family member or friend to invest with you to adopt a verse. Together, the family of Big Valley Grace can bring the various books of the Bible to those who have never read of the great problem of sin and God’s greater plan to save us!
