ADJUSTING TO A NEW NORMAL... FOR NOW

NOT ON-CAMPUS, FULLY ONLINE

Yep. Things are different right now in this quarantine-era. We're all adjusting, and for good reason; staying at home as a way to care for others. Well, just take a gander at the header on this webpage and you can tell that the coronavirus has drastically changed the way we do things. We're a relational ministry, and almost everything we do revolves around being together; having face-to-face conversations with one another, praying together, studying the Bible together, playing sports and games together, hiking trips and outings together, bonfires together... you get the picture. We're doing our best to shift what we do to the online environment, social platforms, video conferencing, and all those online tools.

MAKE THE MOST OF TECHNOLOGY

Just because you are at home doesn't mean you have to be alone. Just because you have to shelter in place doesn't mean you have to stay in place spiritually! The greatest encouragement we can give you right now is to connect digitally. Go follow our Facebook & Instagram channels (see above). Hop into our new Zoom book study (see below). Have a life issue, need some counsel or wisdom, or just need someone to talk or pray with? Reach out to us (see Pastor Brandon's info below)

WHAT's NEXT / HAPPENING

HOP INTO OUR ZOOM BOOK STUDY!

(Don't worry if you didn't "start" with us, missed weeks, or are new! Join anytime.)

SUNDAYS 7-8PM

This is a fantastic read and we're taking it chapter at a time in this new discussion format Zoom Sunday Nights meeting. Right now, we all have a little extra time on our hands; maybe we're being forced to slow down as things come off of our plates and we quarantine at home. Well, what if, right now, we looked at what the Bible has to say about our finite resource of time? What if we sought out a biblical view of busyness, that although it is part of life, it doesn't have to rule or define our lives? We hope you'll join us through this study through Kevin DeYoung's Crazy Busy!

WE'RE A COMMUNITY MADE FOR YOU

Welcome in! Maybe you are here, reading this, for the very same reasons as many other young adults in this area. You've checked out all the local college groups. Maybe there was a cool one once, maybe it's now too far away or maybe it's no longer around; but everywhere you go, you give it a shot and try to be real, try to be vulnerable, try to start some meaningful friendships, and try to meet new people. But ultimately, you don't feel like you fit in. It doesn't feel like a place you can be you, and everybody either has their guard up and is surface-y or is click-y and leaves you on the outside looking in. Maybe it feels just like "big church," a "sit and listen" type experience geared towards the college age but not relational, conversational, or interactive at all. You simply haven't found what you're searching for.

SEARCHING FOR REAL FAITH & FRIENDSHIP

Sound like you? Sound like experiences you've had? Maybe you're still searching. You're that college/career-aged eighteen to twenty-something looking for realĀ community, not just the word "community" slapped onto something. The Modesto area is home, maybe for forever or maybe you just moved here, but you find yourself disconnected. You want people who will be genuine, and people who genuinely care.

That's exactly why this ministry exists. For you. That you would have a place to be you and find out more about who God made you to be. That you'd have a place to find community, encouragement for life, have honest conversations, and find a place where spiritual investment was actually happening.

ADULTING IS TOUGH.

There's challenges and changes at every turn. Life moves at light speed. There's heartbreak, disappointments, and tons of financial stress. Questions about faith and friends and future constantly bombard us.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE.

Meaningful community is hard to find. The feeling of being disconnected, stressed, or overextended is often the norm.

WE GET IT.

Sometimes our past, our fears, or our preconceptions keep us from getting involved, moving forward, moving on, meeting others, or growing in our faith.

Well, whatever your life story, you're welcome here. We want to meet you. We want to get to know you. We want to introduce you to Jesus and help you take the next faithful step in following him. We want to talk with you, grow with you, serve with you, and be here for you in this season of life.

Our group is super casual, warm and friendly, and we go through topics that are relevant and practical to you. I hope you'll give us the opportunity to meet you and get to know you. Leading this ministry is an incredible joy and privilege, so if you're interested in learning more, please don't hesitate to reach out!
