Bags of Grace
Bags of Grace is an outreach ministry that provides a 1 gallon plastic bag filled with basic hygiene items and a gospel tract to help a person without a home. We like to challenge our attenders and visitors to distribute a Bag of Grace to someone they encounter on the street, bringing joy to a person who might be going through a difficult time.
Bags may have some or all of the following examples:
– Gospel of John Bible
– travel shampoo
– travel tissues
– travel sanitizer
– socks and/or beanie cap
– granola bar
– gum/mints
– bottle of water
– toothbrush/paste
– lip balm
– adhesive bandages
LOCAL:
Kicks4Kids
Each summer, our Reach Ministry at Big Valley Grace partners with Modesto Gospel Mission (MGM) to collect new shoes for disadvantaged students in need. The shoes are distributed by Modesto Gospel Mission at their annual Back To School event before the students begin their new year.

LOCAL:
Recycle Minstry
The Recycle Ministry provides funds for BVG missionary partners. God’s hardworking missionaries are to be financially supported by the church.
“In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.” —1 Corinth. 9:14
One way that this support happens at BVG is through donations to the Recycle Ministry.
Funds collected have been used to support:
– Impact Fund, sending BVCHS students to the Dominican Republic
– The Christian Beret Camp
– Convoy of Hope-Backpacks for local children
– Other BVGCC short-term missions
Growing and Impacting God’s kingdom, one bottle, one can at a time!
You can drop off any CA CRV payable recycle material (i.e. plastic, glass, and aluminum drink containers) to the BVG Recycle Collection Container located in the back parking lot next to Good Sam.
Hours of staffed operations are:
Sundays 8:30 AM-12:30 PM
Monday-Saturday, recycle material can be dropped off anytime and placed by the container.

Thanksgiving Reach
Thanksgiving is a special time to serve our community by blessing others with a holiday meal. This is a great opportunity to volunteer to deliver meals throughout the area, and to demonstrate the love of Jesus!
