Scripture teaches that no one meets God’s perfect standard of goodness on their own. Jesus came to save sinners, paid the debt of our sin through His death on the cross, and offers forgiveness and salvation by grace through faith.Ephesians 2 reminds us that salvation is not the result of our works. It is God’s gift. Yet after saving us, God creates and prepares us for good works that He has already planned for us to walk in.Two important action steps emerge from this message:Place your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.Begin participating consistently in a worship gathering and a small group so that you can grow with other believers and receive strength to live out the good works God has prepared for you.You were created for good works.
