Week 7 — Tuesday: Three Little Words
Daniel 3
When the circumstances of life loom large, and the din of peer pressure calls for you to join, we need to be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego as they stood firm in their faith of who God is and what He can do.
Even with the threat of fire, their trust in God did not waiver. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in the midst of the flames, they were not troubled because they walked with God. When faced with testing, are we fearful of the process or peaceful because God is with us in the flames?
How we respond to our testing and troubles affects others. As Nebuchadnezzar watched the furnace, he saw four men walking around when he had tossed three men in. He became fearful that their God was more powerful than all of the gods he knew.
In Daniel 3:18 are three powerful words to change your prayer life, “But even if….”
As we give God our list of requests as we pray, we need to include, “But even if…this is not Your plan, Lord, it does not change who You are or what You can do. I will give You all the praise and the glory in advance for how You will work.” Praying this way has opened my eyes to see the power of God in the midst of circumstances as I surrender my plans and their outcome to God.
Others are watching how you respond to the pressures of life and the testing of your faith; will you stand firm and surrender your plans to God with three powerful words?

October 17, 2023 at 7:34 pmI thought you guys were done with this series I gotten any text from you since like last Wednesday was the last time I got was any text on this so I’m very glad that you’re back on this I also see you have a moderator now I’m not sure why but okay lots of people on social media have moderators for their channels and posts so I guess it’s only fair anyway I really like this teaching about Shadrach Meshach and Abednego I believe Daniel was one of those three people but I forgot which one they called him I really like the fact that it proves one thing about our God if you have that kind of Faith you can come out with some very serious situations unscathed by the power of death because God controls death I’m fascinated by what others think of this scripture I have always considered it a very big scripture and it shows the great importance of God that even in the flames and the fires of life whether literal or metaphorical God is there with us he has been very good to me and blessing me in ways that is shocking me and I don’t even know why he’s doing this and people say it’s because God loves you but I feel so bad sometimes as a believer because sometimes I get angry at God but he’s a good card and he’s good to me it’s just not everyone is good to me and I’m not always nice to people but I do my best and I can do better and I am doing better 🙂 God bless you all hope you have a great night thanks Jesus blessed bye
