Each year, Big Valley Grace partners with the Modesto Gospel Mission, one of our Local Reach partners, to provide new shoes for disadvantaged students.
Our church family members buy new athletic shoes and bring them to Modesto and Ceres campuses during the first few weeks of July. You can purchase and bring NEW athletic shoes to any of the gatherings or drop them off at the church office Monday-Thursday, 9AM-5PM.
Our goal is to provide 1,000 students with new shoes this year!
We also need about 70 volunteers to help distribute shoes and pray with families at the Modesto Gospel Mission’s back-to-school event on July 26. Will you help?

Buy a NEW pair(s) of athletic shoes for an elementary student (size 12 youth – 14 adult). Write a note of encouragement to go with the shoes. Bring shoes and note of encouragement during any weekend gathering or to the church offices during regular hours.
No solid red or blue shoes
Ship the shoes to 4040 Tully Rd, Modesto, CA 95356, and we will take care of the rest!

On July 26, donated new athletic shoes will be distributed during the Modesto Gospel Mission’s back-to-school event. You can help! Also, if you know of a student in need, you can invite them to this event! Please let us know if you are coming by registering below.
