Lord, Teach Us to Pray is a 10-week teaching series examining the topic of prayer and the influence it has in and on our lives. We strongly believe that in order for us to move in the direction God wants to take us, both as individuals and together as a church, we need to seek him in prayer.

One of the great resources for this series is the Series Companion Journal. Created by our team and church family to go along with this series, it contains daily devotions (Mon-Fri), memory verses, a place for sermon notes, and many other prayer resources. You can access the devotions of the journal several ways:

Prayer matters. The Bible instructs us to “pray for one another” (James 5:16) and we’re offering a unique way to be prayed for! Share a prayer request with us via text, and we’ll send you back an audio prayer message from one of our team members.

MINISTRY INVOLVEMENT

SEPT 25-26 Men will be gathering for a time of prayer, with special emphasis on praying for their wives.
NOV 6-7 Men will be praying onsite at senior living centers.
NOV 20-21 Men will be invited to participate in an “unhurried day,” which is a structured day with the Lord.

SEPT 8 Women will gather on the Modesto Campus for Refresh! This is a wonderful evening of worship, guest speaker Laura Barna, and fellowship.
Registration is needed, and childcare is available.
SEPT – NOV Women will participate in an encouraging Bible study titled When You Pray.
OCT 14 Women will partner with BVG’s new Local Reach partner Love Life and join the Prayer Walk.
