Week 6 — Wednesday: Watch The Lord Work
Exodus 14:11-14
Have you been in situations that have looked so impossible, and there seemed to be no way out? Situations such as having to make the next month’s rent or mortgage payment or dealing with a cancer diagnosis or other medical diagnosis. Sometimes disaster seems just around the corner.
So, what is your first response? Is it like Israel in the wilderness, grumbling and complaining, wanting to go back to Egypt? Or to tremble in fear like Israel, frozen in doubt and panic? Or do we praise God and move forward?
Israel had a problem of trust because they looked back and not forward. This same problem of trust affects many of us from time to time. Israel was trying to change what they could not change by putting themselves in charge. They grumbled and complained, and there are times we do as well. We can’t accept what God is trying to teach us.
So, what can we learn from Israel? Don’t get stuck in neutral, don’t panic and be frozen by fear. Don’t look back but move forward. It is easy to stop moving when faced with problems that come our way. As the Lord told Moses in Exodus 14:15, “Tell the sons of Israel to move forward.” Don’t let fear paralyze you—trust God and move forward—watch the Lord work! Trust in the sovereignty of God—He always has our best interests at heart, even when we don’t understand at that moment. God wanted Israel to take possession of the land, but they had to wait because they did not trust and obey the Lord God. Trust Him today and pray for the courage to move forward, trusting Him in any circumstance.

October 11, 2023 at 4:43 pmThe story in Genesis or an exodus about man and Moses the man of God man that guy was truly special to God many people today even look where Christians focus on The mustard seed Faith which it does come in handy sometimes and it does but sometimes we need to have greater faith in the mustard seed in order to move those mountains because we can move mountains with that faith if we have faith in God he’s the mover about Moses parting this Red Sea that’s an amazing beat God did and it was never recorded in the Bible again but I’ll tell you what that is an epic epic epic theme because God empowered Moses his power was flowing through Moses that when he stretched out his hand he had his staff and and the the sea just parted the Red Sea parted and it was just like whoa I bet those Israelites including Moses was probably in pure shock and amazement and maybe even some horror at what they saw with pharaoh and them coming behind them and then seeing the power of God how he fights for us I’ve seen personal miracles in my life and I’ve seen supernatural events in my life I’ve dealt with a lot of paranormal stuff that’s not of God but I’ve also seen God move in my life I’ve seen him answer prayers that I never thought he would answer and he would answer them at the perfect time or what I feared would take place never took place or he turned the tables and changed it for my favor I have seen him do that so many times in my life and so many things I have heard testimonies from other believers that will blow your socks off on what God had them do and what he has done and it’s all biblical it’s all in the Bible God is the same yesterday today and forever he showed me recently about last week I woke up one morning and I heard God’s voice tell me to read the Bible I always say the book of Isaiah could have been mark it could have been the other scriptures but I forgot the exact book but I remember reading very clearly God does not change the god of the Old testament is the god of the New testament he’s same he’s the same nature God that he was in the beginning that means that his statutes his rules and regulations his ways which are perfect and better than man’s ways are still standards today for us as Christians to go by and then also hearing about the war in Israel right now with Hamas reading the part about Pharaoh pursuing the Israelites that Moses was leading him out of Egypt by God hand makes me think of that’s what’s going on right now that God is going to fight for his people Israel the Jews right now that are under attack by Hamas their enemies and it’s brutal it’s brutal over there right now and I’ve been praying for them and so should you guys because it’s our job as Christians to pray for Israel because the Bible says you bless Israel if you curse Israel you’ll be cursed if you blessed Israel you’ll be blessed it’s in the Bible you have to lift it up in prayer that’s God’s promised Land his holy land his holy Land we have to pray for Israel I’ve had Jews I have friends that are Jews and they’ve told me one in particular he used to be an old Street preacher he’s an old Jewish man who practices the Old testament laws but he believes in Jesus he accepts Jesus as Messiah but he calls him yeshua he doesn’t call him Jesus and he told me he says always blessed Israel and his people forever he said never curse Israel and I said all right and he says always bless us and he said always pray for us always bless Israel Jesus walk through Jerusalem Jesus was in Israel he walked around he preached the gospel there he had followers his disciples that’s a big deal people that are catering on the fans are just don’t get it they just don’t understand that this is a big deal and what’s happening in Israel is Bible prophecy coming to pass a lot of Christians on on social media is using Isaiah 7:17 or Isaiah 17 as a reference but I do know that Jesus is coming and so should you but I will tell you it’s just an amazing thing what God does and if he does this for his people to Jews the ancient Israelites for the Hebrews of the day even his people today of Israel what what more is he going to do for the rest you know if we have that faith in him cuz he’s a big God and he can Trump all problems that we as human beings suffer but because we’re little compared to God and we’re sinners you know we fall short of God because of our sin nature our flesh our desires that we struggle with you know God is always faithful and always going to always do righteousness but it’s wonderful how he even uses The sparrows as an analogy in the Bible that the heavenly father feeds them like basically saying how much more important are we if he feeds the birds that may be considered less important than mankind how much more are we to God if he’s going to even feed us and take care of us he’s going to help us we just have to have the faith but one thing I can never ever deny is that God is been good to me he’s a holy God he’s a good God he’s very special he’s very very good and everything he does is for good even if it seems bad it’s actually good and he is a great and merciful god and if there’s one thing I know for a fact it’s this yes there is only one God and we all know who that is the god of the Bible the god of Israel we have Jesus Christ with us that’s great but these false gods of the world the devil in them and his demons they do not show Mercy to man for those who worship them and I pray one day that many more of those people will come out of those beliefs and come into Christ and there have been rumors on YouTube stating that there are many many people in the occult coming out of it and coming to Jesus Christ and becoming Christians that’s a great win for God continue praying for those people anyway I lost track my dinner showed up LOL but anyway God bless you all and have a wonderful day I forgot what I was going to say I think you have enough to read today lol God bless look forward to the next one Jesus blessed thanks bye
