Week 7 — Wednesday: The Powerful Prayer

Ephesians 3:14-17, 20-21

God’s divine power is not only available to us but resideswithin us through the Holy Spirit. This revelation is so over-whelming that we can’t even grasp it and oftentimes move pastit entirely. We often say we want to see His power, but do we really? Because if we did, we would experience it constantly.

James 5:16 says, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” These prayers aren’t powerful because of us but because of God WITHIN us. So, are we seeking God’s will and seeking His righteousness? Being a righteous person has many benefits, but clearly, one is that our prayers are powerful and effective! So, let’s live this out and see the power of God shine through as we pray. Ultimately, His desires and plans are far more than we can ever ask for or even imagine—and He intends to do His good plans through us!

In prayer, we commune with our Heavenly Father. We lay ourselves down and seek His face, seek His will, and follow Him. It is IN HIS POWER where it all happens. In case we forget, Jesus reminds us in John 15:5, “you can do nothing without me.” He is the source of all power and the Creator of the fruit in our lives.

Let’s pray, “Oh Jesus, I want to seek YOU and grow closer to You, knowing You better every day. Cleanse anything in me that is an obstacle to Your power at work within me. Use me to accomplish Your good and perfect plan, because as it says in Ephesians, ‘Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to Him (TO YOU!) be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations.’

I’m so sorry I was not able to catch up on the scripture until now this was from yesterday and I’ve just been so busy and I apologize so just now getting caught up on these things my apologies in advance but as for this about the mystery of the Gospel that the gentiles are The heirs through the Jews to Christ you know that through Christ Jesus will all saved but that he Jews were picked first the Israelites it is a mystery because it makes one thing why does God love all people? Why does God want all people and not just the Jews even though in the New testament when Jesus said that he came for the lost sheep of Israel only obviously there was a change later in the scriptures even though God doesn’t change indicating that he did accept Jew and gentile alike because even gentiles and non-jews were showing faith in Christ Jesus that was amazing in this situation and and Christ is just like there you know and it was just an amazing thing and so it’s very special to know that we all no matter what nationality we are or where we come from or what lifestyle we’ve lived in our past we all All Nations under God indivisible we all have that opportunity to come to God through Christ Jesus through the cross through the blood of Jesus Christ for salvation for that relationship with God for that assurance in Christ on the cross you know for what he did for us it’s an amazing amazing thing and I’ve never forgotten and I’ve had at least two visions of Christ on the cross one last year and one recently and the first one I saw his whole body on the cross second one I saw a crown of thorns on his head very clearly and the thorns looked very very sharp and yes I do get visions occasionally but it’s very rare for me I usually dream but I haven’t been dreaming like I was there for a while I wasn’t having a lot of biblical dreams and then they just stopped and then I started having dreams about things going on in the world in the government etc so but now I’m just having off to Walgreens but there was a time where God was speaking to me through my dreams and it went with the Bible everything I dreamed anyway but I love how we all have salvation and a chance to be saved through Christ Jesus and get a chance to go to heaven and not hell you know because description it’s just amazing God bless good night
